Values-in-Action Foundation is a character-building education and training organization. Through Project Love workshops, community events, leadership training and media programs, Values-in-Action empowers teens and adults to build communities of kindness, caring and respect by putting their values-in-action wherever they go.
The power of just one person can start a chain reaction of positive change in schools!
Dynamic, interactive and motivating, this seminar challenges participants to create a vision for their school, and learn team building techniques and strategies. Students are motivated to go back to their schools and build teams who will carry out kindness and service projects in their schools and communities.
The seminar also includes a volunteer fair. 30 - 40 organizations provide information about volunteer opportunities for students.
Special break-out sessions are scheduled for students and educators.
Students and educators attending this seminar are invited as guests to Project Love's® Rescuer of Humanity Awards Dinner in December.
Who should attend the seminar and dinner? One or more teams of:
3 student leaders (students who have demonstrated the ability to motivate their peers)
1-3 adults (1 faculty and/or administrator; parent and/or community members encouraged)
