VIA Training

The VIA: How You Get There workforce training is a values-based, development program for high school students who are preparing to enter the workforce after graduation. The program offers a full curriculum complete with lessons focused on the soft-skills, character and values need to succeed in the workplace. Students are partnered with local companies who serve as mentors and provide workplace experiences and shadow opportunities.

In 2016, the VIA: How You Get There training was piloted with students from Auburn Career Center and iSTEM Early College High School in partnership with Auburn and Geauga ESC during which students were directly connected to an employer mentor.

For more information about bringing VIA: How You Get There to your school, or for information about becoming a employer mentor to a student going through the program, please contact Mary Alice Casalina at maryalicec@projectlove.org.
